Vignan Global Gen School presenting a cultural programme at the ‘Vignanothsav’ valedictory in Hyderabad on 27th Jan 2011. Proper education enables a student to take right decision at the right time and act with confidence and individuality, said Lok Satta Party chief Jaya Prakash Narayan.
Addressing the students at the valedictory of the two-day Vignanothsav the State-level talent expo-2011 of Vignan Global Gen Schools here on 27th Jan 2011, he said good education alone can make the students noble persons with the capacity to act with selflessness and compassion.
Singer Hema Chandra attended as the guest of honour. Prizes were given away to winners in sports, literary and cultural events. K. Akshara (Vikas Group) and Mirza Muddasir Raza (Nasr) won the first prizes in elocution competition, while K. Sri Vathsava (TVR) and S.Shreya (CMR) bagged the second prizes. Sriyamsu of the Central School and S.Sri Harshini of Vignan, Saroornagar, won the first and second prizes in drawing competition.
In group songs event, students of St. Francis stood first and Satya Vani Vidyaniketan students second. In chess, V. Raghava Sri Vatsav of Glendale Academy and C. Rishi Teja of St. Joseph High School bagged the first and second prizes respectively. K. Shivani of Vignan, Nizampet, won the first prize in Discus throw and P. Purva Sri of DAV Public School stood second. In the 60-metre sprint, M.V.Akhilesh of DAV School and Sunil Nagaraj of Army School, Golconda, bagged the first and second prizes.
విజ్ఞాన్ గ్లోబల్ జెన్ స్కూళ్ల ఆధ్వర్యంలో రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా హైదరాబాద్, గుంటూరు, విశాఖ, రాజమండ్రి, ఏలూరుల్లో 26, 27 జనవరి 2011 తేదీలలో విజ్ఞానోత్సవ్ రాష్ట్ర స్థాయి టాలెంట్ ఎక్స్ పో -2011 కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. హైదరాబాద్ లో నిజాం పేట్ లోని విజ్ఞాన్ గ్లోబల్ స్కూల్ ‘విజ్ఞానోత్సవ్’ చివరి రోజు కార్యక్రమం 27 జనవరి 2011న జరిగింది. లోక్ సత్తా పార్టీ అధినేత ఎమ్మెల్యే జయప్రకాశ్ నారాయణ, విజ్ఞాన్ స్కూల్స్ వైస్ చైర్ పర్సన్ రుద్రమదేవి, జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వల చేసి కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో గాయకుడు హేమచంద్ర , టీవీఆర్ మోడల్ స్కూల్ కరస్పాండెంట్ టి.కోటిరెడ్డి పాల్గొన్నారు.
విద్యార్థులు గుజరాత్ సంప్రదాయ నృత్యమైన దాండియా, పంజాబీ, లంబాడీ నృత్యాలు, మత్స్యకారుల జీవన విధానాన్ని తెలిపే నృత్యం, ఏరువాక, బోనాలు లాంటి జానపద నృత్యాలు చేశారు. విద్యార్థులు జాతీయ సమైక్యత, వీర జవాన్ నృత్య రూపకం, తెలుగు, హిందీ బాషల్లో రామాయణ ఘట్టం, తెనాలి రామలింగ కవి నాటికలను ప్రదర్శించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో హేమచంద్ర పాటలు పాడి అందరిని అలరించారు. విజ్ఞానోత్సవ్ టాలెంట్ ఎక్స్ పో -2011 కార్యక్రమంలో జరిగిన క్రీడా, సాహిత్య, సాంస్కృతిక విభాగాల్లో జరిగిన 20 పోటీల్లో గెలుపొందిన వారికి బహుమతులను ప్రదానం చేశారు. క్విజ్ పోటీల్లో ఎం.రంగదామేశ్వరి, ఎం.విజయ్, కె.వీరేశ్ లు ప్రథమ స్థానాన్ని పొందారు. వకృత్త్వ పోటీల్లో కె.శ్రీవత్సలు, పాటల పోటీల్లో గౌతమి, ప్రీతి, సంయుక్త, భరణి, శృతి, హారిక ద్వితీయ స్థానాన్ని పొందారు. ప్రథమ బహుమతికి రూ.3 వేలు, ద్వితీయ బహుమతికి రూ.1500లు హేమచంద్ర విజేతలకు అందించారు.
